"Pollan makes the best list again! This time with Food Rules. A must have for anyone who enjoys eating delicious food. This book consists of sixty-four food rules and a short explanation. He writes that he is still collecting food rules and if you, dear reader, have any that you would like to share, send them to pollanfoodrules@gmail.com. I personally would like to see some food rules on my five favorite food groups of all time: Cheese, Bread, Chocolate, Beer, and Potatoes. 'Nuff said."




Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan

"Movies always generate interest in the original story and this is no exception. The Lightning Thief, first written in 2005, is the first in the series about Percy Jackson and his friends. If you have younger siblings, (or in mine and Heather's case, oodles of nieces and nephews) we highly recommend this book. Greek Mythology has never been more entertaining. And on a side note: we need to devote more time to the word *oodles.* 'Nuff said."
