Pages and Plants....Plants and Pages

Share
In response to all those new fangled technologies like the Amazon Kindle or the new Apple Ipad (which I'm pretty hesitant in buying because there is nothing like holding a real book in your hand...ooh especially new book smells... well and old book smells...), an Italian company named Gartenkultur came up with a fantastic idea of recycling books and helping with keeping the earth green.

Turn used books into planting pots! It looks pretty and people will think you are an amazing genius for this. Be sure to say GARTENKULTUR and then your friends will think you are cultured as well!

"Pursue their own survival instinct and the desire to find balance with the planet. Thinking about your life as all 'avvicendarsi the season and prepare themselves for it, never lose sight of the art and the wonder that dwells within us, to make his art and his nature, a "law of pollution contrary."

Nature creates majestic trees, the man to dominate over other species, needs to assert itself, not with his art and its inherent beauty, but with the fruit of his intelligence. Where the nature creates, the man writes. Until now.

Gartenkultur is furnishing items, additional art, unique and unrepeatable. As each seed becomes a plant or tree, so the book becomes a pot and cradle."

Wonderful description of their website which is linked HERE. It is in Italian, so you will need to have google translate it for you unless you happen to be fluent in Italian.
